Jaagir Manor, Dudhwa
Jaagir Manor is a stunning and intimate safari lodge offering a small number of luxuriously-appointed rooms, suites and villas in the expansive grounds of a lodge dating back to the 1940s. Some rooms and suites are located in the original lodge, whilst the large stilted villas are located amongst the bamboo groves and woodlands of the lush grounds. All accommodation is tastefully furnished with beautiful antique or hand-crafted pieces. The restaurant is overseen by an experienced head-chef, serving up some extremely delicious regional specialities, and there's a poolside bar to enjoy a cocktail in the evening. The inviting swimming pool is set in pretty gardens and a nice place to cool off after a morning safari in the Dudhwa National Park. The national park entrance is just 30 minutes by road, and Jaagir Manor have their own vehicles as well as very talented and award-winning naturalist guides.
